The Dawn of The Green Hydrogen Recovery

The Dawn of The Green Hydrogen Recovery

This is the dawn of our planet’s ‘green recovery’. Those interested in renewable energy and lowering emissions, (i.e EVERYONE, we hope), can’t help but notice the massive increase in noise surrounding green hydrogen. As the most abundant element in the universe becomes a daily topic of discussion amongst the powerful in parliament and global board rooms, we are seeing a raft of investments and applications amongst businesses including our world-first zero-emission hydrogen double-decker bus manufactured by Wrightbus, the maiden Hydroflex hydrogen train journey through Warwickshire, the announcement from Transport Secretrary Grant Shapps of Teesside as the UK’s first Hydrogen transport hub, the successful hydrogen test flight from ZeroAvia, the hydrogen boiler from Bosch, hydrogen trucks from Mercedes-Benz AG and Daimler AG and many others, and hydrogen cars from Toyota Motor CorporationHyundai Motor Company and BMW Group. As Germany, Japan, Australia and others invest billions in hydrogen with hydrogen strategies underway, and with Goldman Sachs and other market titans confirming the Hydrogen ‘tipping point’, we can’t help but grasp the value of the burgeoning ‘hydrogen economy’, both for tackling emissions, and creating much needed highly-skilled jobs at the dawn of a global ‘green recovery’.
